About the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMMS)

More than a third of a million Americans are living with Multiple Sclerosis. What is MS?
It's a chronic, often disabling desease of the central nervous system. Symptoms may be as mild as numbness or as severe as paralysis or loss of vision. Most people with the disease are diagnosed between ages 20 and 40, but the effects of MS are lifelong.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is committed to ending the devastating effects of MS. Through education, advocacy, research and local  programs, the NMSS is enhancing the quality of life for people with MS and their families.
