We were all quite grateful for this second day off, after six days of consecutive riding. The only person to hop aboard his unicycle today was Scot, who went back to Macom and rode the 70 km to Lyon that he missed doing yesterday. The rest of us slept in, ate breakfast, and met our personal unicyclist tour guide Olivier Dupre of Lyon for a casual walk through the city. One of the coolest things to see was the ruins of a Roman amphitheatre now used for modern rock concerts. We also got to see ornate churches. We spent the rest of the day wandering around, resting, and eating.
