"It is subordination by semantics. We are bicycle drivers. In fact,
we drive our bicycles in two senses of the word: operator and power
source. It is motorists who would more appropriately be called
riders." - Jack R. Taylor, editor at www.chainguard.org

BICYCLE, NO UNICYCLE, THROUGH EUROPE
This past summer John Stone from New York rode a 36" wheel uni-
cycle with nine other unicyclists (eight riders are American, one is
German, one is Puerto Rican; two are women, and eight are men)
from Cologne, Germany to Barcelona, Spain - most of the journey
being a north-to-south ride through France. The group pedaled every
revolution of the 1,120 miles - no coasting on a unicycle - in 19 days,
averaging 59 miles/day. An informative and photo-filled website
documents this epic ride. See what these intrepid riders
accomplished; it will make you want to learn to unicycle so you can
join them on their next trip.
